For me the ABE route is the most appropriate, specific and precise way to get a theoretical foundation set out for future experiences.

Business Management (Management of Information Systems Pathway)

The BIS programme was replaced by the Management of Information Systems (MIS) Pathway of the Business Management (BM) programme after June 2011. Friday 4th March 2011 was the LAST DATE ABE accepted NEW STUDENT ENROLMENTS for the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in the Business Information Systems programme. Any registration applications for the BIS programme received after that date will be registered on the new MIS programme.

Information is crucial to running a successful business. Technology now provides a range of information systems, and so a modern manager needs to understand the way they can be used to develop and control the business.

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) now offers a Management of Information Systems (MIS) pathway within the Business Management programme. The new pathway system allows greater flexibility for students who now have the option to achieve additional qualifications. The MIS pathway contains three levels of Ofqual accredited qualifications to improve your information management knowledge and skills. The Diploma in MIS starts at level 4, and enables you to progress through the Higher Diploma at level 5, up to the Graduate Diploma at level 6. You can study at one of more than 500 colleges worldwide who between them offer a range of flexible study options.

Each ABE course leads to a qualification in its own right.
